The Executive Officers of The University of Chicago Chapter of ACS invite you to contact them if you have any questions, comments, or ideas about the organization membership, activities or events.
1. Membership
Click here to be redirected to our membership page.
2. Becoming Active
You can become active in chapter activities by becoming a voting member, by becoming an Executive Officer, or by participating in the ACS Events Committee. An easy way to get involved early and in a limited capacity is to work on the ACS Events Committee. The Events Committee actually executes all the logistical functions necessary to make each event successful. This can include anything from greeting speakers, to picking up food or drinks, to cleaning up after the event. On different occasions, Events Committee members are invited to attend Executive Board meetings to observe and participate in the executive decision-making process.
3. Sign Up for Information
If you are not interested in becoming a registered national member of The American
Constitution Society, you may still receive chapter bulletins informing you of upcoming
chapter events. The privilege to vote, serve
on the Events Committee, or hold an executive board position is limited to nationally
registered chapter members.
To sign up for the information only, please click here and advise the current membership director that you are interested in information about local chapter events. You may, of course, becoming a voting member of ACS at the University of Chicago at any time by becoming a registered national member.
